404 Not found on domain name but OK on /index.php

Hi all, My CMSMS site running 1.12.1 works on http://www.mydomain.com/index.php but serves a 404 Page not Found error on mydomain.com

I can login OK and have cleared cache and re-set default page.

Has anyone struck this before? Am I missing something basic?

Re: CGBlog with Categories, content double-up

OK, cracked it. I was putting {content} and {CGBlog} tags into the template. Just put {CGBlog} inside the WhizzyWig on the news page itself and presto. I don't like putting tags where clients can see them and try to avoid it if I can. A small failing of CMSMS? Maybe? Could it be that in future CMSMS...

[SOLVED] CGBlog with Categories, content double-up

Hi There, I'm using CMSMS 1.11.11 with CGBlog 1.9.8. Also CGExtensions 1.31.1 and CGSimpleSmarty 1.5.2 I think I am missing something here. I've read this great Calguy post about the Fundamentals of CGBlog http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=51791&hilit=CGBlog+browsecat Howeve...

Redirect Removed Pages - where to put your redirection code

Hi, First up I'm using CMSMS 1.11.10 “Pinzon” as I write this. I'd like to propose a one line text addition to this docs page ( http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/customizing/redirect-removed-pages ) that clarifies exactly where to place your 301 redirect within your sites htaccess file. In the .htaccess...

Re: FEU Front End User Login Error

I installed the latest CGExtensions module, ran the update for it, and installed the latest FEU module and ran the update for that too. That seems to have fixed everything.

FEU Front End User Login Error

Hi, I'm using CMSMS 1.11.10 with FEU module version 1.6.5. I'm using FEU to grant access to PDF embedded product catalogues. It seems to work pretty well for the site owner. However, I'm now getting the following Error after logging in... Notice: Modification of internal data is deprecated: feu_logg...

Re: Working Directory and Image Drop Zone Error

Config seemed to be right, but I took your advice and simplified it greatly. I did all the Maintenance area tasks and Presto!

All CMSMS upload functions working as expected. Thanks for that! Awesome. O0

Working Directory and Image Drop Zone Error

Hi, I'm running CMSMS 1.11.10, recently upgraded from 1.9.1. If I drop an image into the "Drop files here to upload" drop zone in the top right of CMSMS's admin, they get created in a directory called "ploads" in the root directory. If I delete that folder and try it again, CMSMS...

Re: MAIL ERROR: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for forea

I got this message all over my site after upgrading to 1.10 from 1.11.8 changing stuff in the CMS mailer settings didn't correct anything for me, so I'm not sure if your issue has anything to do with CMS Mailer.

Sure thing Dr. CSS, all done. I was never sure who was responsible for actually doing that. Forum admins or myself. Good to know.

Re: Admin CSS broken 1.11.1

OK, here's how I fixed the issue! Pondering the possible meaning of the error message, within my config file, I placed $config['url_rewriting'] = 'mod_rewrite'; BEFORE $config['timezone'] = 'Pacific/Auckland'; everything started working fine! Sorry to waste time on the forum, but I hope this helps s...

[Solved] Admin CSS broken 1.11.1

After moving CMSMS 1.11.1 from a subdirectory to the root folder I struck this issue and I can't seem to resolve it. The frontend of the website is working just fine, however in the Admin area (regardless of changing admin theme to OneEleven or Ngrey) has no Stylesheets! Clearing cache makes no diff...

Re: [Solved] Facebook

I thought I'd share some code for the iframe version as it seems to be where Facebook are heading rather than FBML: <__iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?app_id=148139585258930&href=http://www.website.com{$smarty.server.REQUEST_URI}&send=false&layout=standard&w...
