Open Sores - Where's microsoft when you need them

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Open Sores - Where's microsoft when you need them

Post by Sam »

You get what you pay for with Open Source - what a headache.

Can someone explain to me why installing and "config it" is the real problem with open source?  You guys write tons of code but you won't write an install program to install your work properly?  Why not? And so sometimes it works, other times not.

I guess you get what you pay for.

A warm and heartfelt RTFM to you
Maybe life would be better if people like you stuck to Microsoft products.

Mambo sucks, that's why I am here.
Now they call it Joomla, but it still sucks!

Coincidence that this IP is the same IP as this post from yesterday?

Very mature way to handle the situation...

And to answer your question, it's because the php install you used doesn't have a mysql driver loaded or installed.
