Hi,
i've got config.php up on the server, I have it set to 777, but still, nothing gets written to it.
I get right to the screen that tells me I can now view my site, but when I click on the site I get:
"There is no config.php file or install/index.php please correct one these errors!"
And when I look at my files, it says that config.php is still 0 bytes.
Bizarre? I get no errors on the way along.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Not Writing to Config.php?
What type server, which FTP client, etc...
Re: Not Writing to Config.php?
Hi,
Client: Transmit
I'm pretty sure the server is IIS, but they do run PHP fine.
thanks

Re: [Solved] Not Writing to Config.php?
Not quite sure why, but Neither Transmit nor Dreamweaver would permission the file properly. With filezilla, I changed the permission for the ENTIRE cmsms folder to 0777 and that seemed to work fine.
Is there a difference between 777 and 0777 as well maybe??
