This jump is very long ....
BEFORE testing in locale environment.

LOCALE ENVIRONMENT:
- Install xampp package in your PC
- Download CMSMS 1.2.1 (check this also)
- Delete all files in htdocs (sub of xampp) and uncompress CMSMS package there
- Start xampp and create a new db with phpmyadmin (view this Visual tutorial: #1)
- Install CMSMS
- STOP: Check if works
- OTHER CHECK:
- Read Upgrading doc
- Install last version of your server modules (modules not in core package!)
- If you use News module, READ module help (Extensions > Modules) because now you News work on db template ONLY

UPGRADE in locale:
- Backup DB (with phpmyadmin or other tool on your server host)
- Delete all tables in local new db and import your server backup (via phpmyadmin: http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin)
- STOP xampp and copy htdocs and mysql/data in other folder: if something is wrong in upgrade you have this snapshot for other test
- Start xampp and upgrade (http.//127.0.0.1/install/upgrade.php)
- Check if works

If works well you have good probability for server upgrade

Hello carasmo,

do you use official 1.2.2 ?
Have you installed some non core module ?
Thank you for having searched the board before posting, I don't ask you to search my posts for my "usual questions" :

What is your hosting ? OS, settings ? What link have you downloaded ? How was the installation (method? any warning ?) Do you see something strange in the http logS ? Does debug set to true in config.php provide valuable information ? What are exactly the steps to reproduce your issue ? anything else that could help the volonteers not in front of your screen to diagnose ?
