Since upgrading I've been inundated with 403 access forbidden errors with everything to do with my Uploads module (found in Content > "File (Uploads Module)". If I try editing or creating something from the control panel, I'll get a 403 error. Similarly, in the actual webpages that I generated with this module, if I browse my webpage and try to access the links to files, I'll get a 403 error too. I've had a fiddle with umask setting, but that doesn't free the 403 forbidden errors.
This problem has only surfaced since I upgraded from 1.1.0. to 1.1.1. I'm now using 1.1.2. I think this has to do with some folder or file permission change since I upgraded, because it was fine before. Can anyone advise as to what folders I need to CHMOD or change their settings so I can get my uploads module back? I tried uninstalling the module (version was 1.3.0 beta 3), removing it all and starting again, by reinstalling, and now I can't even create a category without a 403 access forbidden error. In fact, although the module is there, I cannot change or do anything with it because upon doing so I always get a 403 access forbidden error.
Upon reinstalling, I had this message too, which might be why something is now being allowed??
Warning - The proper behaviour of this module depends on numerous php configuration variables. These include (but are not limited to), php's memory_limit, safe_mode, file_uploads, uploads_max_filesize, and max_execution_time. These variables may need adjustment for this module to work properly on your site. It is advised that you work with your system administrator or host provider to tune these settings for your requirements.
Hope someone can help me, I've searched for ages in all the docs and forums too, to no avail
I'm really at a loss and I don't know what else to do....
Many many thanks!
