Hey there. I have two different installs on my web host, one is a version 2.1.3 install (http://www.nickburrows.com/csiheadstart) and the other is a 1.11.11 install (http://www.eastidahoaging.com). As recently as September 7, the install at http://www.nickburrows.com/csiheadstart was working. I learned on September 20 that it is having problems.
On the surface, it looks like it isn't loading the stylesheets, but in looking at the HTML code that processes, it actually isn't processing any smarty tags and seems to be breaking on those. The eastidahoaging.com website appears to be having the same problems.
What's weirder, is that I cannot load the content manager or the design manager on the 2.1.3 install at all and about 75% of the admin portal doesn't load properly. The 1.11.11 install's admin portal does work, which has lead to me ruling out database issues.
I contacted my web host and they assure me that they didn't make any changes to the PHP configuration.
Are there any thoughts on where I should start to troubleshoot this?

The is a "1" in the top left corner of your website/template. Not sure of this is related but it might be...

Re: Website not loading properly
And wrt http://www.eastidahoaging.com/ if you look at the source two things seem obvious:
1 - the site does render the head hmtl which usually means that you have some error before CMSMS tries to render it (keep in mind that CMMSM usually renders the head section last);
2 - the body rendering stops at:
which means there is an error there and PHP dies possibly with an error.
Look at the server PHP server logs (make sure that they are properly configured otherwise you might come uup empty). There most likely is a clue to the error.

Be it as it may, something must have changed... it may even be some content posted on the site by some editor. Re: Website not loading properly
The 1 was me trying to troubleshoot. I just have forgotten to remove that call.
No content was added or changed. I confirmed with the small number of editors.
With both websites, the HTML stops at the first smarty tag call of the body, so it would seem that for some reason the smarty engine isn't working now but it did a couple of weeks ago.
I loaded a WAMP server on my home computer and was able to get the csiheadstaet website working from the files and a database backup on the web host's server, so I am confident that it's not a problem with my CMSMS installs.
I was hoping someone may know what server configurations could make the smarty engine just stop working like that.
Thanks!!

Re: Website not loading properly
As I said that is a PHP error, without the PHP error logs, I doubt anyone would venture a guess...upennick wrote:I was hoping someone may know what server configurations could make the smarty engine just stop working like that.
