Upgrade 1.6.4 to 1.7 (hangs on step 6)

Post by Deak »

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade a client's site from 1.6.4 to 1.7 and when I click Continue on Step 5 to go to Step 6, the page just hangs. There's no error to report from the web page or Apache's log. Any ideas?

check for E_STRICT? and make sure it is OFF?
make sure error reporting is turned on?

E_STRICT is now off and error reporting is on. I've also upgraded PHP to the recommended 5.2.12.

Some additional info: I have now run a checksum test and the page shows the following PHP error about 30 times (above the actual checksum test):
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/user/domains/mydomain.com/public_html/install/lib/classes/CMSUpgradePage1.class.php  on line 80
The checksum test (repeated about 30 times):
/home/user/domains/mydomain.com/public_html/ - This resource is a directory!
