How do I make/update translations? [NEW]
Re: How do I make/update translations? [NEW]
Hi Patricia,
This new tool is REALLY FANTASTIC. Quick, easy and Simple!
Just one question: Now, how could i download all updated files? If i use this tool for an update on the nwes module, how (or where) could i get the new updated version of the news module in order to upload it to the spanish (in my case) translation project, just to be available for everybody in the development area?
Thanks.

Hi fexcel,
Great that you find the Translation Center useful and already started to use it!
Do you know svn? If so, you can svn update the files from the Translation Center project. You will then get all the translated files and can from there take the Spanish files for each module and the admin and make zips to upload them to the Spanish translation project.
Use this URL: http://svn.cmsmadesimple.org/svn/translatecenter
By the way, this is only for making translations available between releases, the files will automatically be included in new releases.
Here is a guide on how to use svn with TortoiseSVN, although that now needs to be updated as the translation projecs's svn repositories must now not be used for translation files.

Mambo sucks, that's why I am here.

Hi rikkibr,
What language would you like to translate to? If your language already has a project in the CMSMS Forge, then find that and click Request to join (you have to be registered). Click here for a list of languages that already have projects.
Once you're approved by the admin for your language you can go to http://translations.cmsmadesimple.org and log in with the same username and password as you have registered with in the CMSMS Forge.
If your language is not in the list, register a new project for that list and once you're approved and your language added to the list of languages you can start translating.
Hope that helps.

Re: How do I make/update translations? [NEW]
You log into the translation center with your forge username and password
http://translations.cmsmadesimple.org/login.php
then select the language you wish to translate (if you are a member of only one project you'll only see that one) and the module you wish to translate.
Hope this helps

Re: How do I make/update translations? [NEW]
When I log in to the translation center I get a page with a box that says "Choose language" but the box is empty

Re: How do I make/update translations? [NEW]
I suppose you got it working? The language has been added to the languages config file, so you should be able to find Icelandic when you log in. Welcome to another Nordic language!rikkibr wrote: When I log in to the translation center I get a page with a box that says "Choose language" but the box is empty![]()
