Re: Toggle Start/End plugin bounces in ie9

Hello, and thanks for the responses so far Versions: CMSMS 1.11.1 and Content_toggle-1.4. Pressing the 'Compatibility Mode' button in ie9 fixes the problem, but this is no real solution... what kind of crappy software is so knowingly bad that it requires a prominently placed button which basically s...

Toggle Start/End plugin bounces in ie9

Hiya
I'm using the toggle_start / toggle_end plugins and all works fine in FF, Chrome and most ie versions, except ie9 where instead of opening and staying open until clicked again, it just bounces open and then closed.

any ideas?

Frontend file browser for specific uploads folder

Hello I'm trying to build a document center for a site, and have about 100 files in about 30 different folders (all in uploads/resources). Is there any module or method for getting the folder/file structure presented to frontend users without manually inserting each file into a page and linking to i...

'Pages' paeg error after upgrade to 1.6.3

Hello I've just updated one of our sites to 1.6.3. The site looks fine to users but in the admin when I try to view content>pages I get this error Notice: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /home/webberdesign1/public_html/lib/xajax/xajax_core/xajaxPluginManager.inc.php on line 286 Out...

Re: Google maps module just producing blank page

Hello
I'm having the same problem. After reading the last post I edited the lat and long (of both the map and markers) to the lat and long of another map I've been succesfully using for a year or so (in cmsms, same module). Still shows a blank area where the map should be.
any ideas?

Re: retrieve form variables

Hey MW I'm trying to do a similar thing at the moment - use 1 formbulder form as a 'register for this event' form - for multiple events. I've got a solution for the first bit for you: Passing Event Title from the calendar I've made each event using the Calendar module. Users click the calendar title...

How to extract a variable from a form and write a text file with variable name

Hello All I'm using formbuilder to make an events registration form. I have various events in calendar items, with a button at the foot of each to 'register for this event'. When the user clicks the register link a form builder form appears with the top field pre-populated witht the event title (the...

Re: display issues: Browser and resolution!

You should try and set widths for your divs - make them the same width as the header image/slideshow thing. #menuwrapper, #body etc. It seems here like you are trying to square the circle between fluid and fixed layouts.

Re: How can I get categor dividers into a drop down menu

d'oh... i was missing the jscript on the template... all fixed now thanks, but it has thrown up another problem. The client (despite my recommendations) wants some of the top level items to link to pages (which makes sense) but others to be just section headers. When I try to make the top level (par...

Re: New CMSMS website

hey gardnern There's lots of good advice up there, except one bit: about replacing your ellipsis … (that's 3 dots to most people, but it has a name… plural ellipses) with three periods. Don't! The ellipsis is a character in its own right and should not be approximated with the dot dot dot approach. ...

Re: A few cmsms sites... of over a dozen built over the last year

Hello Chuky Our process is as follows: 1) Design the page in pshop/fireworks/illustrator (as appropriate to the style). Get it signed off by client. 2)Build a xHtml version of the page in Dreamweaver so that we can get the CSS styling done quickly offline - we don't do table based design at all - al...
