Re: Maintenance message on entry, but site still works
Now I feel really stupid. Thanks for that. Fixed. That's what I get for copying the files into a folder created by CPANEL and not checking it.

Maintenance message on entry, but site still works
I just moved a CMSMS site to a new shared host and everything is now working OK except that I get a site maintenance notice on entry to the site. If I click on the "Check if site is available" link, the site then loads normally. I have checked and double-checked all my config.php and htacc...

Re: Fatal error: Call to a member function getContent()
Has anyone had this error if they've had automatic cache clearing enabled? I've just set mine to clear after 5 days, to see if that makes any difference.

Re: Urgent - site down - fatal errors in eval'd code
Sorry, Alzheimers... make that 16 years. I started posting web content on the AARNet in 1993. If that presents a problem for you, I'd suggest the source is in the mirror.

Re: Urgent - site down - fatal errors in eval'd code
Sometimes it helps to realise that not everyone is a web developer or programmer. Lots of people download and install CMS Made Simple because it implies that you don't need a lot of advanced knowledge to use it. But the people who do that typically also don't know how to triage a problem like this. ...

Re: Urgent - site down - fatal errors in eval'd code
So just what does "cms made simple" mean, if you are turning people like that guy away so curtly? He could have got that crap on the joomla forums.

Re: Urgent - site down - fatal errors in eval'd code
Further info - I think someone has been able to inject malicious code into my site, but not sure where yet. The extra code at the top of each PHP file looks like:
If anyone knows where to start looking for the source of the problem, would much appreciate some help!!!
Code: Select all

Urgent - site down - fatal errors in eval'd code
I have just looked at one of my CMSMS mature sites which I upgraded to the latest CMS version a month or so ago and it has crashed totally. The error message I'm seeing is: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare qjk() (previously declared in /var/virtual/web/wXXXX/html/cms/index.php(1) : eval()'d code:1) in ...

NFS news scroller - how to set scroller height/width
Hi all, and thanks to Georg Busch for a great news scroller module.
Can anyone point me to where I can change the default height and width settings for display of this module?
Thanks, Tony

Re: moduleinterface.php error after moving to a new server
// in url is set in config at the top is base url like this... Thanks, I knew that one would be something blindingly stupid and obvious, but I just couldn't see it. Any thoughts about the module interface error? Also happens when accessing some other modules from the admin interface, so I am suspec...

moduleinterface.php error after moving to a new server
Hi, I have just moved a solid working site (Ver 1.2.4 "Greenland") to a new server. Everything seems to work OK except that I can't get the news module to work in the admin area. When I try to add or edit news, I get a javascript error in the footer that says "Line 56, Char 3, Error: ...

FCKeditor won't browse server for images in 1.0.8 - urgent
I have been using CMSMS since about 1.0 and have just completed my first 1.0.8 installation. There seems to be a major bug in the FCKeditor version used in 1.0.8 (which I think is v2.0.5). When I try to browse the server for an image, I get a full screen error message which starts by saying "th...
