Ok, so it turns out there was a way to get PHP 5 working after all. This did indeed solve the problem.

Re: Error when installing module CGExtension 1.71.2
Upgrading to 1.6.5 did not make a difference.
Could this be a problem with the PHP version? My hosting provider has PHP 4.4.9 installed. There is no way I know of for me to get PHP 5.x installed

Re: Error when installing module CGExtension 1.71.2
Same problem here, running CMSMS 1.6.3.
Did you find out what the problem is? I want use the CGFeedMaker module (To add RSS to my News module page), but this depends on CGExtensions.

Re: Issue after upgrade
Thanks for that clarification. I've indeed found my templates in the backup I made (of course
) of the old version. Everything is back to normal now.

Re: Issue after upgrade
Next time I promise I'll use the search function first before asking a question
.
This has been addressed in this forum before, and I know have it working again (Although the upgrade did destroy my templates)

Issue after upgrade
I've just upgraded a site from 1.0.2 (Old, I know) to the latest 1.2.1 version. Now I'm running at least one issues: The news module no longer functions. I get a message saying "string(67) "Smarty error: unable to read resource: "module_db_tpl:News;summary""". What's th...

Comments module: "number" tag not working, spamprotect breaks "add"
Hello, I'm using the comments module, version 1.6, and have run into a couple of problems: 1) The "number" tag has never worked for me. I can add "number=25" but the module will still show all comments. 2) When I enable "spamprotect", the Add a comment link leads to a p...

Re: News module problems (bugs?)
1) My site has only short news items, so I usually skip the summary, and only fill in the main content. Now when I later go back to this article to edit it, a single is inserted in the summary. This means there will be an empty news item with a more link to the content. That's an error caused by th...

News module problems (bugs?)
Hell all, I'm a new CMSMS user, and very pleased with my experience so far! Two things I noticed in the News module, which may be bugs or just my misunderstanding: 1) My site has only short news items, so I usually skip the summary, and only fill in the main content. Now when I later go back to this...
