Re: Menu Manager not working 2.1.6

AH!!!! Given the clue of Navigator I found the "introducing 2.0" page I'm not sure you hardcore guys realize how much stuff there is in the documentation and how difficult it is (for a dope) to trip over if you don't know to go looking for a specific item. THANKS! Again, for an amazing pro...

Re: Menu Manager not working 2.1.6

Thanks!

I'm updating myself (and my website) from 1.10.3 so I have some catching up to do.

Where would I have found this and other changes?
There is no mention of the changes in the Help file and the 2.0 docs still call it a core module.

Menu Manager not working 2.1.6

I'm doing a new install of 2.1.6 on a local host (Xampp, it's a new install too) Everything goes well but when I check the Module Manager in Admin it says the Menu Manager is not active, although it is installed and it has a red down-arrow with exclamation mark. I can "make it active" but ...

Well that was easy!

Thanks!
I do hope they get SEOtools corrected though.

[SOLVED]Update 1.0.10 SEOtools2 causing problem?

Hi, I updated SEOtools2 from 1.0.05 to 1.0.10 and seem to be having a problem with the addressing being generated for images on my website. Previously the address I used would look like this: "uploads/images/whatever.jpg" That no longer works, now I have to append a slash resulting in this...

Re: CGExtentions problem?

Jos,

You are 100% correct no {metadata} tag, Because {SEOtools2} (which I am using) doesn't want it there!

But now that you mention it I think I also updated SEOtools2
At the Same time I did CGExtentions!

Could be that's where the problem is!

I'll do a second post.

Re: CGExtentions problem?

Ok, I've found that previously referencing an image went (as this: <img src="uploads/images/jpg/member3.jpg"/>) No leading slash was used. Now if I add a leading slash (as this: <img src="/uploads/images/jpg/member3.jpg"/>) an individual image will parse correctly. Unfortunately ...

[SOLVED]CGExtentions problem?

Hi, I just updated CGExtentions to 1.29 and seem to have lost all images on my site except those on the home page. I'm thinking something changed in the addressing for the images? Perhaps I was doing something wrong previously that happened to work but doesn't now? Here is the address I'm using for ...

Re: Random Image question

Thanks for responding Manuel,
I'm afraid your approach is a bit over my head.
I'm going to reformulate my question and try re-posting

How should I tackle the problem?

I've got a problem that has built up over a couple of years. One of the features of my site is the availability of newsletters. We do 10 per year and I now have over ten years of newsletters on line. Currently they are accessed from an HTML table but it's more than a little unwieldy. Is there a modu...

Re: [nooB]Error getting site to go live

THANKS!
I knew it had to be something easy. Too much was working.

Just so I understand,
the problem was caused by having the module in there but not installed?

[nooB]Error getting site to go live [solved]

This is a new install of CMSMS 1.9.4.2 Everything goes perfect during install. My problem occurs when I import my database (I think) The .sql file is fine, I can move it to a second local machine with no problem but when I move it to the server (and I've done it several times with different versions...

RSS as input for News

I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion ( or better, an example) for using an external RSS feed as input to the News module. I have been working with the CMSSimplePie module and getting the feed just fine, but have not seen a way to input the articles to the News module. Is this a good way to go, o...
