I am curious to this as well. I would guess that if it was a new installation of CMSMS you could simply use the same database that the IPB forum is currently using. If neither the CMSMS or IPB installation are not fresh, I would suspect it would be more difficult. I'm in the latter situation current...

I ran into this problem as well once and Ronnie's suggestion was the same fix I used.

What issues would you foresee if I wanted to put a checkout or cart system (paypal, etc) on the site? Is it due to copyright? If so I would most certainly contact the author(s) previous to launching a "profitable" website with others code.
