How about a menu, such as PHPLayers that can be different depending on the page? Or even EllNav. Something that you can decide which page it will display on and pick which items will show for that specific page?
Just a thought.
Also, has anyone given any thought to incorporating a forum or Blog into a module?

Re: New Modules Request
I am not referring to the layout, I am referring to the menu items. If I want to have different menu items display on different pages. How will changing the template resolve that? Currently you are limited per page to the items listed in the menu. You can turn items on and off by using the "display in menu" option, however, I am asking if it can be incorporated into the system that you can choose which template or page you would like a menu item to appear on because menus may change from page to page.
Re: New Modules Request
ok.. then I was wrong.
The way I solve it is just to make a my own tags.

Re: New Modules Request
My mother used to say, "If you can't say antyhing useful...". You know the rest.
Anyway, I agree. I think the option of being able to set items to multiple menus is terrific.
e.g. {bulletmenu menu=2 align=horizontal depth=3}
You could then simply set which menu applies to each page when you create it via a select menu.
[Disclaimer: I tend to use the word 'simply' quite a lot. In all cases it refers to the notion of the idea, not its application.]

You could try to use piratos' Kalender-module as a blog. it has a small calendar and you could use the events as blog entries. Just an idea...kingfhb wrote: Also, has anyone given any thought to incorporating a forum or Blog into a module?
