CSS Help : How do I do CSSMenu left + 2 columns? [solved]

Post by djkirstyjay »

Hi!

I am trying to change the layout of a new site I'm putting together and I can't for the life of me work out how to have it so that the CSSMenu is on the left with 2 Columns, one for content and one for small banners, next to it.

This is what I'm trying to do : http://www.tenerifeforum.com/tenerife-f ... index.html

and this is what I currently have in the CMSMS : http://www.tenerife-forum.co.uk/cmsms// ... ?page=home

Notice how the banner area displays directly to the right of the menu, rather than on the right-hand side.

I have tried a 'float: right;' and 'margin-left: 640px' commands in the div, but I can't get it to work.

Does anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong?

The code for the template is as follows :

{sitename} - {title}

{metadata}

{stylesheet}

{cms_selflink dir="start" rellink=1}
{cms_selflink dir="prev" rellink=1}
{cms_selflink dir="next" rellink=1}

{literal}

=b){nw=b+"px";}if(w

#pagewrapper {width:expression(P7_MinMaxW(720,950));}
#container {height: 1%;}

{/literal}

      {anchor anchor='menu_vert' title='Skip to navigation' accesskey='n' text='Skip to navigation'}
      {anchor anchor='main' title='Skip to content' accesskey='s' text='Skip to content'}

Scratch that... I have just been looking through the 'themes' site to see if there were and designs I could look at the CSS of and try and figure it out, and guess what? The theme we have used (but changed the colours of a bit) is there!!!

What fun ;D I can now just change the CSS a bit to match.
