Content filter of RSS in-feeds?

I have come to CMS from about 5 years with Drupal. I love the crispness of this program.

I there a way to filter feeds that enter the program? I have several hundred general medical sites feeding in and I only want to show feeds that have the string "Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia"  in the body.

Is there any way to do this?

Also, we have a dial-up line. Every time I change pages on this site, I get all the text showing in the browser (Mac Safari) and the the formatting refresh. Is there a way to prevent this flashing?
