Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Menus dont work anymore after upgrade from 0.12.1 to 1.0.2

Post by arndts »

Hi,

http://keeva.boyd.ie

Just upgraded from 0.12.1 to 1.0.2.  After upgrade, the menus don't work anymore in IE6 as previously, the menus are not displayed nicely as it was.  In Firefox it looks better, but just want it to work in IE6 as well, as most of my friends use that.

In both IE6 and Firefox the menu item of the selected page is now displayed in bold, and thus disturbing the view.  Can the bold black be reset?

Any hints and tips what to fix?  Could not find a forum post with a similar problem.

Thanks, Roel

The menu change has been in the forum...

What menu were you using before in the tag?...

You may have the old install folder on your comp. still so you can get the old menu template and import it into the menu manager to get the older calls back in place by going to, on your comp., cmsmadesimple12.1\modules\MenuManager\templates then find the old one you used and copy/FTP it to your new install into the same folder...

Thanks for the quick reply.  I could not find the proper description in the forums, despite using different search arguments.

Another user who had a similar problem with menus, MJD, gave me the tip to check the templates.  Thanks MJD!  From his tips I figured out that there have been changes in the CSS Menu Vert 1 Col template.  Have applied these changes to my modified template, and voila: it works as previously.

Thanks and have a good day,

Roel
