[SOLVED] Guestbook css (1.1.3)

Post by RonnyK »

I just installed Guestbook 1.1.3 and am not sure where to put the css-code. No example is available and all data is now put together, line per line. So all lines of all entries are basically listed without any formatting. Does anyone know how/where to setup the css.

When the Guestbook module is installed it installs a (default/template) stylesheet.
You can simply attach that (or a copy) to the template you are using for the page the Guestbook is on.

On a default install (using the Left simple navigation + 1 column template):
- open 'Layout' => 'Templates' in the admin
- click the CSS icon besides the Left simple navigation + 1 column template
- select the Guestbook (default/example stylesheet) stylesheet from the dropdown
- click the "Add a Stylesheet" button

Thanks again Dee,

I didn't notice there was a css attached to the install. The help didn't mention it.

Actually, it is mentioned in the help
An example stylesheet for the default database template is installed with the module.
The default stylesheet is deleted when the module is uninstalled and may be overwitten by an upgrade, so you might want to use a copy if you modify it.
Attach the stylesheet to the page template used.
and after install
Make sure to set the "Modify Guestbook Entries" permission for users who will be administering Guestbook items and "Modify Guestbook Template" permission for users who should be able to modify the guestbook template.
Attach the Stylesheet named "Guestbook (default/example stylesheet)" to the template used to style the guestbook.

;)
