Calendar - "Details" field

I'm very new to CMS and am having a great time learning to navigate through CMS Made Simple.

I have a question regarding the "Details" field of the Calendar Module. I'm trying to modify my course calendar so that fields for "In-Class Activities", "Readings Due" and "Assignments Due" appear separately in the "list" display, similar to what I have here in the columns: http://www.rkboettger.com/3365/schedule.htm

I was hoping that I could create fields where I can just input and update the info for each field.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm using CMS Simple Version 1.0.2

May be you could use three categories. Make a table 4 colomns wide. In each colomn a new table with one category in the upcoming-list. Change the tamplate for upcomming list using fixed cel heights.
