I'm a linux user (exactly suse 10.2). I found that the major difference between files uploaded from linux and files uploaded from windows is the "chmod difference" (windows ignores chmod).
I've uploaded 3 times CMSMadeSimple files from my Linux computer and each time I have the error 500 (Internal server Error). I changed the chmod (755 - 777 - etc..) with no result.
I decided to boot on my windows part, I downloaded an fresh new CMSMS archive from this site and uploaded files to my server. It's all right, no error.
It's just an information but how can upload files from linux without caring about the chmod ?
