Problem with style.php + Can't install the blog module

Post by nakuttaja »

Hi again!

I was trying to upload the blog module while my ftp-program crashed. After that the admin-page looked like it didn't have any style.css attached. I searched to forum and find alternative style.php. I replaced the original style.php with the hacked one and my admin-page looked normal again.

I deleted blog-directory from modules. Then everything worked just fine. I uploaded blog module again mut now the Extensions -> modules (listmodules.php) doesn't display anything! Opera won't show me the source code of that page so I assume that it's empty. When I delete dir "Blog" modules-page works ok.

Hope you have solution for this!

The blog module was developed before the news module took on the ability to perform the same functions...

You can now change the "More..." to your choice and it's easy to add Comments with the comments module, so there is no need to use it at this point, unless you just want another place to create articles w/o filling up the News...

If you do want to use it I have upgraded it to work with 1.xx, I've just never changed the default templates to reflect a more blog like nature...
