Search engine friendly urls?

Hi!

I have say at first that I've at least found nearly perfect cms to my needs!

But my answer is: is there plugin which makes url more friendly and shorter:
instead of www.domain.com/index.php?page=how-cmsms-works I'd have url www.domain.com/howsmsmswokrs.php or something like that.
