Copy News-items between installs

Hi,

before i start manipulating with the Database i just want to ask if there is someone that exported News-items and imported those in another install.
In the documentation or module-help i do not find anything and a search did not give results.

If not, i will just handle it straight in the DB.

ContentTools, which is a fork of CGContentUtilities, has the ability to export/import News (among other things). It's a pretty new release so I'd test it on a dev site or at least have a good backup first.

i will install the module in a test-install i have plenty of those.

I am curious what functionality is in the module. The site where i will use it, is a remake of an old CMSMS-Site made by a collegue where i am helping out with all new modules and a design with W3CSS. We are almost ready with that.
