CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
just pimped the recently started english version of the CMS Made Simple page on wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_Made_Simple
I already made the Dutch version, so if there is anyone who would like to add things to the article or start a translation of the article please go ahead!

Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
Hi tristan,
nice to read you
- I've made the german entry at
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_made_simple
Perhaps you can add a link (have not an account at en and nl).

Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
Hi Cyberman,
nice just did that, if you'd like you can add the Dutch version as well, but maybe that'll happen automatically, please note that your not using capitals on the german site for made simple, maybe nice to make a link from http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_Made_Simple to http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_made_simple?

Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
Looks like this treat is dead. I just begin to write about CMSMS in Portuguese:
http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_Made_Simple
Every one (Portuguese speakers) is invited to edit the topic in Wikipedia.
ps: strange, the English item was deleted?

Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
I would like to post a big CMSMS logo, like Drupal:

Where can I find one?

There was a wikipedia manipulating war

Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
Hmm can we already recreate this page, or should we wait? Just updated the Dutch page with the logo used on the Portugese version btw.cyberman wrote: There was a wikipedia manipulating war.
Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
I think we can recreate the English version.
I updated the Portuguese version:
http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_Made_Simple
With the logo and more information, including the packt win.
And I put links for the other versions (english, german, netherlands).

Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
You won't happen to have to original english text somewhere do you? Or is it still available somewhere in cache?
Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
Isn't easy to translate from the German version?
cyberman?
cyberman?

Maybe.
But it's a difference (for me) to make "only" support in english or translate such a complexe article ... and my time frame is limited.
Re: CMS Made Simple on Wikipedia
It looks like we have to do some more lobbying on the english Wikipedia, glad to see at least the Dutch version is still going strong: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_Made_Simple.

There was a CMSms article in english Wikipedia for 4 times, and for 4 times it was deleted by Wikipedia admins.
They are very restrictive.
I'd maintained the german CMSms arcticle in Wikipedia for 3 years. This year in april it was deleted after a long (but not really fair) discussion.
They said CMSms has no relevance for Wikipedia ... it's not really useful if people like bus drivers and post mens decide about the relevance

I (try to) keep the dutch wiki up-to-date!Tristan wrote: It looks like we have to do some more lobbying on the english Wikipedia, glad to see at least the Dutch version is still going strong: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMS_Made_Simple.
