Multiple site configuration

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Multiple site configuration

Post by SiNn3D »

Hi,
I am not using CMSMS yet, but I think I want to.

Is it possible to manage multiple sites with one instance of drupal?
Besides that I also want to share some of the content between different websites, only needing to edit the text one time in order to change it on all websites.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could tell me if this is possible at all.
Any additional info on wether i need additional modules or simply need to configure the installation in the right way is most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Ähmm, drupal ??? - that's not the right forum  ;).

If you mean CMS made simple, please read this

What you need it's depending what you want - CMSms default install has a basic modul set inside.

DOH! sorry... i meant CMSMS indeed, but i've been going through a large amount of CMSs lately and was a bit confused :P

btw, Drupal does have this option but i don't like the rest of it.

thanks for your quick reply, I like the usability for both editors and designers a lot on CMSms, but the multiple site thing is very important. And I'm affraid I can't wait...
