Hello,
Tristan (bug tracker) reported file" action.admin_add_edit_field.php" is missing in the .xml since early november... It's always like that.
At least 80% of new CMSMS users will install Formbuilder. How many will have the idea / patience to consult the "bugtracker". How many will flee ...? Please correct this quickly!

Well, not quite... most module developers, if not all, volunteer their time to their modules and CMSMS has quite a good pool of modules, all free. That also means that they can only devote so much free time to the modules they support. Some modules have more regular updates, others are now abandonware for a number of reasons.pierrepercee wrote:Tristan (bug tracker) reported file" action.admin_add_edit_field.php" is missing in the .xml since early november... WRT FormBuilder, the module has passed through a number of different stages of development, sometimes quite slow ones because the developers involved had less time to devote to it for personal reasons. We are now trying to pick up the pace. However FormBuilder is now quite stable.
There is one sine qua non condition though for issues to be solved: we have to be able to reproduce the issue in order to address it.pierrepercee wrote:At least 80% of new CMSMS users will install Formbuilder. After having excluded the usual suspects (a bug in generating the release files, a missing file from the release that for whatever reason we have overlooked), the remaining sources of the problem could only be on the servers where FormBuilder was being installed. And although we have one or two reports (yours is now the 3rd I know of) we have not been able to reproduce it on our servers and can only conclude that it may be an exceptional occurrence such as a false positive on some server antivirus. That puts the statistics at less than 0.1% of CMSMS users installing FormBuilder coming across this issue.
Having said that, we will eventually have a fix for it, and we do believe that users should have the "idea / patience to consult the "bugtracker". If you notice any error on your server error logs that may shed some light on the subject we'd appreciate it that you send it to us. For now the fix detailed in the BR you pointed to is a small price o pay to have FB working on your server IF you actually come across this issue
Thank you for taking the time to post your thoughts, we appreciate it.

Hello,
Thanks for your quick reply. I think it would be way more easy to work in the same way if a user could know that you can't "reproduce the issue".
Now I know you can't reproduce the issue I will have a look at my server log !
