This is a basic question I know but want to make sure I do this right
In my root folder, public_html, there are subfolders one being cmssimple.
Do I place the zipped upload in the cmssimple folder or just in the root, public_html?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Where to upload zipped file
If you want your site in the root folder, install it in the root. If you want it in /cmsms (e.g. https://www.mywebsite.com/cmsms/index.php) then install it in the subfolder.
If you do put it in a subfolder and want to use pretty urls, make sure to review the sample htaccess.txt file in the docs folder to see the note about subfolders.

Re: Where to upload zipped file
Thanks for the quick response. File uploaded but the installation stops saying there is an error. Need write permission for php.config.
I've changed the permissions for the php.config file but installer still won't go past that step.

Re: Where to upload zipped file
The permission seems to get cached, just force-refresh it or restart the installer after changing the permission.
