Hi,
I set up a site using the default template, including the search form.
If I search I get, say, three pages found. Fine.
If I then decide that I don't want to go to any of the found pages but return to the page I had when I entered the search term, I have a problem.
The left menu says I'm on the start page (for instance). The bread crumbs too and the page title.
But I don't see the start page content, only the search result.
How can I get the start page content back?
I think I have to go to some other page and then back again...
Maybe a "close search result" link that is actually just a link back to the page without the search parameters?
Kind regards
Tomas Albinsson
Hard to "leave" search result
Re: Hard to "leave" search result
Have you tried to insert a back link in result template (admin panel, menu extensions > search)?
Re: Hard to "leave" search result
I think in the search tag (in the template) you can target a page in which to show the results (so they don't show in current page). So you won't pollute the page you've launched a search from and you can go back with your browser or as cyberman has said.
