I also have the exact same error and none of the other answers seem to apply. Anybody have any ideas?
just as the post above, I am also running on a windows server ( I know, I know, nothing I can do about it, it comes w/ the job...) Windows 2003 web edition running Apache Tomcat 5.5.4, MySQL 4.1.12, Microsoft IIS 6.0 and PHP 4.3.11 with a clean install of the latest build (as of oct 10th 06) of cmsmadesimple. The install seemed to go fine, the were two yellows but everything else was green then I get these errors :

okay, no help here and I could not understand the tech answers found by a google search of other forums so I am going to try to do an unistall,, set everything back to the begining and attempt to start over.
Did you go to those folders and make sure there were no files in them, they are, I believe just for writing temp. files to so it doesn't have to fetch from database...
I think they were empty but then I developed an assess issue and couldn't check. I have deleted the entire account and will be starting all over with a clean install and see what happens.
