templates problem

templates problem

hello guys ...
can u help me to install some themes for my CMS?
I just installed CMS Made simple ... btw .. i like it very much :D
so now i'm trying to install some new themes ... but cant .. :(

i downloaded hauki1.zip from http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/Full_Themes.html ..
look at this pic ... this is how it looks my site when using this theme ...

so please help me....
same problem for all themes ...

most probably template export hasn't worked out like it should leaving some bits out.

without accessing the original template and your admin cant say much more...

any tutorial or somethin' ..how to  install templates?

That template comes zipped, so you need to take all the images and put them in a folder in uploads/images/templates/hauki1...

Then open the template file with an editor like notepad, not word pad or word they may add formatting I use the free PSPad editor...

Then copy/paste it into a new template in the admin, Layout » Templates at the bottom click  Add New Template name it and paste the code in big box click Submit...

Open the CSS file copy/paste into new CSS, Layout » Stylesheets,  Add a Stylesheet, name it, click Submit...

Then go back to Layout » Templates and across from the new template right side click the little orange CSS icon you will be at Layout » Templates » Current Associations at the bottom is a drop down for 'Add a Stylesheet' find your new stylesheet click it and it should show in the drop down window, click Add a Stylesheet and it should show in the upper part...

Now it should work...

mark, could you write a small howto about that in themes site. it might help a lot of people...
