No search index for Uploads module fields?

Is it not possible to search the Uploads module with the Search module?

I've tried to search for words in the name, author, summary and description fields but i get no results.

I do get some results if i search for content in uploaded PDF files (but only if the file size is very small).

When i look in the source code of the Uploads module, it looks like the fields "name, author, summary and description" are set to be indexed by the search module.

There is no FEU restriction set on the Uploads category and the category files is set to be listed.

Yes it works. I use it here https://beeldbank.zeijen.nu with latest release of CMS and modules. You do need to let the Search module re-index the content though.

I have re-indexed the content several times, edited and re-saved files and categories, rescanned categories and nothing is found - I'm really confused why it is so

OK! I've done some more testing and found something;

If the file size is larger a certain size nothing get indexed - Neither the file content (PDF), name, author, summary and description fields.

File A (PDF) 124 kb = Search succes (Searching for words in file, author, description field).

File B (PDF) 222 kb = Search fail (Searching for words in file, author, description field).
