Web directory

I would like to create a web (business) directory.
Is it possible with CMSMS?
Is there a guide about this?

Definitely doable, and there a couple of modules which would work (some experimentation would be needed to determine which is best for your needs):

I'm not sure there are any full guides, but the module documentation, along with some basic Smarty knowledge, should be enough to get you started. Google/forum searches should get you past any specific problems.

You could also try the LISE module for this.
