Whitelist not working when user name is not the e-mailadres

We use FEU en Selfregistration everything works well, great modules!!

But we need the whitelist option, our username is not the e-mailadres. We creat an other text field that is named e-mailadres. Everything works the e-mails are allways send even to the registering user. En when it is not in the whitelist. But we need that only users with an e-mailadres for an certain maildomain ( *.domain.co.uk ) can register.
