One problem is gone - the next appears....
Now as we got the NMS 2.12.2. system working on the cmsms 2.1.6 environment so far ...
...we detected that the message variables...
- {$unsubscribe} — A URL that can be used to display a page for unsubscribing
- {$preferences} — A URL that can be used to display a user preferences page
...don't work in the test newsletters we sent out.
The message variables deliver an empty result - no url can be found event in the source of the newsletter.
Even the re-upload of the NMS module files by ftp don't change anything.
The field "Return page for Usersettings form" in the usersettings tab on NMS module is set to the page where {NMS mode='usersettings'} tag is placed.
It however works with the old 1.11.13 cms and NMS 2.9.5. ...

...to a mai address for test reasons does not include the option to link to change settings because this email address (even if it might be already into the users db) is not recognized by the system as a newsletter user address and therefor not link to a settings or unsubscribe is possible.
