I have used CMSMS Global Content Blocks as blocks that contain content which is used on every page and customer may edit them. After upgrading to CMSMS 2.0 old Global Content Blocks moved to Design Manager and are called now as Templates (type Global::Core). Earlier GBC's could be edited with WYSIWYG editor, but after upgrade the editor is missing and there is no checkbox to enable it.
Is there any way to enable the WYSIWYG editor to Global::Core Templates? This is critical, because my customer can't edit the content now, because he does not know how to write HTML.
CMSMS 2.0 Design Manager Templates and WYSIWYG
Re: CMSMS 2.0 Design Manager Templates and WYSIWYG
No, it's not possible to enable WYSIWYG on templates. The reason is that it's not suitable to have it enabled on templates.
A lot has been asked and written about this subject already. So please search the forum or use google (e.g. 'CMSMS 2.x gcb').
Some modules can be used as an alternative too.
