Email notification from Events

CMSMS version 1.12.1
CGCalender Version 1.15.7

We are using the CGCalender module to create events, is there a UDT that would send email notification when an event is added / edit etc.
The events are added by users of the backend.

We are already use the excellent page notification but unable to configure this to pickup events.

Thank you for the link.

But this doesn't quite give us what we are looking for.

We are trying get an email notification when an event as been added.

We are not looking for security.

Need to understand the event variable that we can act on.

The link refers to a mail udt and it is triggered by a CMSMS event...
Use instead of the login failed event, an event of the CGCalender module...
