category system ?

hi,

maybe it is very easy but i am new on CMSMS. and i do not want to give up CMSMS, because i like it.

i need a main category and page of that category to show content summaries published under that category. i do not know if i explained well just like other content management systems. you create a category, and you add some contents under that. and when you click on category name, it shows summaries or contents related to category.

i created a Section Header. i created some contents under that. but you can not click on it. i can create simple content and show in a page only 1 content. how can i show more ?

even on main page. do i need to create content blocks to show more items ? why i can not create a main page with some contents in ?

i am pretty sure it is very easy, maybe i am just confused. or could not understand main structure.

You probably need a module like 'News' (default available in core) or 'CGBlog' or 'Products'.

CMSMS itself is not a blog, content pages do not have a category. They do have a position in the content hierarchy, but it's not the same as you already notices.

By default you can the content of one page at a time. You can configure a template to behave different but I'd recommend you to have a look at a module that suits your needs.
