Banner by section

Hi,

I want to have a different banner for each major section of the site. The page structure is like this:

1. Home
2. Australian site section header
2.1 Australian home page
2.2 Payment Notices
2.2.1 FAQ
2.2.2 Objecting to a payment notice

I'd like to have a different banner for each second level page, which will be inherited for all the pages beneath. EG 2.1 will have one banner, and 2.2, 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 will all share another banner. Is there an easy way to do this without having to make 5 or 6 different templates? Seems I may have to bite the bullet and write a small module.

CMSMS 1.0.2
    * Apache 2.2.3
    * MySQL 5.0.24a
    * PHP 5.1.6 & PHP 4.4.4
    * phpMyAdmin 2.9.0.1
(latest XAMPP release on windows)

There is a Banner Plugin/Tag somewhere which will do something like you want.
