instal in working directory

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

instal in working directory

Post by hansstrik »

I have used CMSMS for many many years ant the installation of the backoffice always was without a problem.

Now i'm using the latest version and I am not getting any further than point 2.

i get the information here below: I can not figure out how to solve this problem.

It appears that the directory you have selected to install in is a working directory for the installer itself

Is there anybody who can help me? ???

thanks

extra info:

I have several sites and i am building a new site with the url Hypnose-hoofddorp.nl.

If I want to install the CMSMS program in the file of Hypnose-hoofddorp it gives me the above mentioned problem.

If I install the CMSMS program in the root (before I go into the file Hypnose-hoofddorp than the installation is going okay but that I don't want, the installation must go into the file Hypnose-hoofddorp or the website can not be found when you enter the url in the browser

Hi jce76350

Thanks for helping out.

I downloaded the file: cmsms-2.0.1.1-install.expanded.zip

unzipped it

with a ftp program i put the file in the http://www.domainname.com file on the server

I went to the browser and entered http://www.domainname.com the welcome screen comes up

when I go to step to it gives me the message :
It appears that the directory you have selected to install in is a working directory for the installer itself

and I can not go any further
???
