{SOLVED} installation of 2.0.1.1

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

{SOLVED} installation of 2.0.1.1

Post by newagekat »

Hi:

I'm switching an old client from static to cmsms and thought i might as well jump in with both feet and start with 2.0. I uploaded the installer.php and expanded. browsed to http://artificial-eye-clinic.com/cms/cm ... nstall.php and I'm now faced with the infamous white screen. Having read the doc on 2.0, I checked the error log, but it was blank. So I provided my host with the system requirements per the documentation and he came back with:
PHP Version 5.4.40

Registered PHP Streams are:
https, ftps, compress.zlib, php, file, glob, data, http, ftp, phar, zip

Phar EXT version 2.0.1
Phar API version 1.1.1
the host cpanel has Softaculous Apps Installer and cmsm 2.0.1.1 is available. When i try this method, it keeps telling me i have insufficient space, but i have 30MB of space to play with.

please help!

Sorry, Rolf, am I missing something? I checked an no where is space requirement stated.

I should also point out that when i hit enter after entering the install url, it adds index.php to the end. This seems odd to me.

Used the script in cpanel and finally got it working.
