Very new and needing help to get stated...

I need some help. First let me say that I am very new to CMS made simple. I was asked to get a site that someone else created up and running.(it is down now) I have encountered several issues. I have the admin login and PW...Once logged in----
1. there is no "theme" tab
2. when i click content---= "pages"--"problem loading cache"
3. I have 1 unhanded notification..."Core Warning: install directory still exists. "Please remove it completely problem loading cache

I have watched several instructional videos and read over several tutorials but so far no luck... Any help would be appreciated.

This is hardly enough information to get any sort of useful help... Besides CMSMS 1.9.4 is no longer supported.

My suggestion is to read this 1st, and this too and then post system info and any additional info that may help the community help you.

PS: point 1.clear cache... point 3. should, imo, be self explanatory... delete install directory?
