Upgrading from 1.12 to 2.0

Hi:

I did the upgrade as soon as I read the announce in a site that I'm just starting developing (not critic yet, then I can try here).

I use the simplex design and I noticed 2 problems (or things that I did a the wrong way):

1. The images in the teaser are not showed anymore, only the orange rectangle with the words at the left.

2. In the Design Manager, if I try to enable other than simplex, it seems to remain saved, but the site always show the simplex design.

Any hint will be appreciated.

Finally I need to make a new installation, but well, was small site and I managed to enter again all the info.
