image_rotator missing function

Hi forum,
I have some problem with image_rotator
first the conf
CMS Made Simple 1.0.2 "Maui"
PHP Version 4.3.9

this is my tag in the template:
{image_rotator  random='false' folder='uploads/images/xxx/' speed='3' mod='4'}

thr proble are:
1. the rotation is always random
2. mod don't operate

there are something wrong?
