Help to change website domain

Hello,

First, thanks you for taking the time to read me !

I am in the process of changing our company website web address. Our website is currently available at www.carabreizh.com. I've set up the domains names parameters to change it to www.carabreizh.bzh. However, I have a 404 when I go to http://www.carabreizh.bzh.

I called 1and1 who host our website, and they tell me that I have to make a change in CMS Made Simple to authorize the new address. However, I cannot find what to change to make it work on the new web address.

(For info, I have to use a CNAME because the website in hosted on 1and1 but the domain is managed by another company, and 1and1 cannot handle .bzh extension. Cname is : http://s316188914.onlinehome.fr/)

Can anyone give me an advice about this ?

I think the hosting company didn't setup everything right OR you have something in .htaccess preventing the domain working.

Quick test:

1. rename .htaccess
2. upload a sample index.html file
3. browse to that file http://www.carabreizh.bzh/index.html

If that doesn't work I think you should contact the hosting company.
