[Solved] Front End Uploads - Image Help

Post by welsfordvfd »

I am using front end uploads to control a photo gallery within our webpage. Users have the ability upload images from the frontend once logged into the page.

When we upload a large photo (approx 2000px x 2000px ) the webpage crashes. I can see the image successfully uploaded in the "front end uploads" module. However, the author appears to be sometimes blank or something different then the usual authors email.

If we limit the file size "dimensions" to 1000px x 1000px everything works fine. Image uploads and webpage does not crash. I cannot find anything in the module that is restricting the size of the images?

- Any help here would we appreciated.

webpage is http://welsfordvfd.com/gallery.html

memory_limit: 32M
Seems pretty low to me.
increase the limit or contact your host 64MB of 128MB.

Image manipulation needs memory. The fact that smaller images do work makes I'm pretty sure it's a memory issue.
