Email attachment Formbuilder 8.0 not working? (SOLVED)

Hi,

I am using the latest version of CMSMS with the latest version of Formbuilder in conjunction with CMSMailer. I am trying to upload a file via the contact form and attach it to an email but without success. This did work in 0.7.4 as far as I can remember but we updated to the latest version of Formbuilder when 0.7.4 was reported as unstable.

I've tried different mail transports (smtp etc) and no success. I can see the attachment uploaded to the server but not attached to the email.

I also see this in the Formbuilder forge which suggests we are not alone:

and also this which suggests an issue may have been fixed with 0.7.4?

Any chance the error was accidentally reintroduced in the latest version please?

FB 0.8 is based on 0.7.3 since 0.7.4 introduce more problems than it fixed.

So if 0.7.4 fixed a problem yes it is possible that it might be back.

With that said, according to the BR you linked JoMorg has test and can't reproduce any attachment issue (there is a multi-page issue which is fixed in the SVN), and the last message from the guy who started the BR said it is working.

Please provide with system information and full list of your steps so that we can try and reproduce the problem.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply to this as I've been unwell for a few days.

Revisiting today I realised that our CGExtensions module was actually a few steps out of date. After I brought this to the latest version, the form file uploader now works. Apologies, I'd missed that update.
