Hi All.
I've started playing around with social integration on a CMSMS site. I'm still at the rather steep end of the learning curve.
I've seen a few excellent modules / tags around that can help with social integration, but i'm not always sure what the different terminology means.
tl;dr
I want to know how i can pull a FB status update and show it in my news feed. Is this possible? What modules are the well suited to the job? Would it be easier to do it from CMSMS and output a status rather than the way i have proposed?
Any advice is appreciated.

Re: Advice on showing FB status update in news feed
One option to consider is doing it the "other way round" - get a plugin from Facebook Developers site and paste it in a page or template. Take a poke around here for suitable plugins:

Re: Advice on showing FB status update in news feed
Thanks for the advice. I went with CGFBApp which initializes everything that the FB API requires. I also use it for a simple Like button. Then i got a Like Box from FB and pasted that code into my template. I think it came out well.paulbaker wrote:One option to consider is doing it the "other way round" - get a plugin from Facebook Developers site and paste it in a page or template.
