Export User Data via frontend?

Export User Data via frontend?

I use the FrontEndUsers 1. 24 together with CGUserDirectory 1.4.5. I am now looking for a way allow the export of the data that is displayed by CGUserDirectory as csv (or maybe even PDF or XLSX) file via frontend. My approach would be to write some PHP code that directly extracts the corresponding data from the database and then does the required formatting.

Is there a built-in method or a separate module that offers such functionality?
