Loading the new site http://www.perfectdaypictures.com/newsite/index.php using Firefox or Chrome it often times out. In fact it is almost impossible to view unless I use 'view site' from Admin, in which case it loads very quickly. The Home page is not image rich that may cause load problems.
Loading time for CMSMS admin for the site is normal.
Any hints would be appreciated. I have cleared the browsing history on both browsers but there has been no change.
Thanks
Martin

Seems to load fine here (Firefox).
If you're using CGSmartImage you should read this post: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 6&p=315254

[SOLVED]Re: New CMSMS site loads so SLOWLY but.......
Thanks Velden. That is a relief. Must be something at my end. At least I can get a fast view of the site via the Admin panel.
Not using CGSmartimage.

Try to use a tool like this
http://www.webpagetest.org/result/141013_E7_DN3/
to check what you can do better
.
Deactiveate all modules they are not permanently in use (ModuleManager, ThemeManager and so on).
Check how much domains are on the server you are using
http://www.majesticseo.com/reports/neig ... taSource=F
If there are someone using performance eaters like Typo3 it's possible you have a peak load with following loading trouble on your site.

Think it's too much - 50 hosts per Server are ideal.Total (1,338 domains)
