modules and TinyMCE not playing nicely

Whenever this happens to me, the first thing I do is use the option to clear all of the settings under the Advanced tab. Revert it back to original defaults.
Then, I clear cache and check if it is better.

If not, then I uninstall TinyMCE, remove it from the server and reinstall.

One of those generally always work for me.

In those rare cases that it doesn't I check mark the option to use a static config file, check the permissions of that file and that generally takes care of things.
